Who are we?
SpanisHaitianCham (Spanish-Haitian for Commercial and Industrial Development Association) is a non-profit business organization that has been founded in Madrid on 19th October 2006 registered number 28357 (VAT: G84976299), it operates as an open, democratic organization, independent of any political or financial group. The purpose of this association is to facilitate trade and investment that strengthen the local economy, spread freedom, eradicate poverty, and foster a spirit of harmony suitable for development. So, the association promotes all activities that allow a better understanding between Spain and Haiti in all sectors, especially within the scope of business, science, education, arts, and sports.
The founders of SpanisHaitianCham have set for priority a rapprochement between Spain and Haiti, insisting on the whole aspects that unite us more. Since its foundation, the development of our activities has been carried out with that goal, knowing that the knowledge of our culture will permit both countries to strengthen their ties and maintain development.
The activities promoted by SpanisHaitianCham during its existence have been focused on two main areas:
- To encourage mutual knowledge.
- To build long term concrete elements of solidarity through cooperation of bilateral instruments which incite, guarantee and consolidate the relations between both countries.
Our main focus is on creation of employment opportunities by promoting the development of small, medium and microenterprises.
SpanisHaitianCham is at the service of:
- Haitian companies that want to export their products, participate in trade fair exhibitions in order to find and maximize opportunities in the area of cooperation and partnership.
- Spanish companies that wish to export their products in Haiti.
- The universities or investigators who wish to participate in the design and feasibility study for the infrastructure development in Haiti funded by international organizations.
